As the battle for the soul of Edo state via the seat of the executive Governor moves closer, members of different political parties have started pushing their interest forward for the Edo people to show through their profiles so they can chose a candidate at the end of all party primary elections.
These and more happening in the state have built up a huge tension amongst the different parties hustling to retain or capture power to lead the people.
And one of such tension have been raised from the issues of some police officers in Akpoma who were captured on video attempting to commit murder, also abusing a Nigerian man and his mother said to have refused to pay them bribe when accosted by the said police men while inspecting vehicles area the community.
An eye witness name withheld who gave a blow to blow account of the incident said he saw the police officers using their official car to run over the victim after he was handcuffed for refusing to give them money.
The victim Ehimare Success, have since being rushed to a hospital where he has been receiving treatment.
With an update on the victim Ehimare Success seen as a a Police Brutalized person in Edo State, we are glad to report to well meaning Nigerians around the country and across the world that this Ehimare Success is recovering at the Hospital in Irrua, Edo State.
Our correspondent was able to locate him and gifted him with some CASH DONATIONS to support his ongoing treatment.
He recounted his ordeal, stating that his vehicle was pulled over, wrongly accused of not having car papers, and his aged mother was also assaulted and was bleeding from her nose due to a slap by the officer.
Meanwhile, this Ehimare Success’s father was a retired Police Officer.
He approached the officer to protest the assault on his mother and he was handcuffed and later ran over by the police car.
Stephen Osemwegie was disturbed by the incident and decided to come to the aid of Ehimare Success so he can be able to cohen on the hardship hitting the nation medical bills and some upkeeps.
Stephen said this case must not end here.
Justice has to be served and be seen to be served. He went forward to say our fellow citizens deserve dignity and respect from those in authority.
In his words, he said I am Stephen Osemwegie and I am running to be the Governor of Edo state so all these kind of wickedness and abuse of power can be checked.

Stephen Osemwegie has offered to settle the medical cost of the innocent Ehimare Success, the victim of Police brutality in Edo state and stated clearly that nobody deserves to be treated in such an an animalistic manner.
Our reporter on ground at the hospital also said the police brutality victim Ehimare Success said he is from EBUDIN UGBEGUN (Esan Central LG) and I stay in Ihumudumu, Ekpoma, Edo state, in his words.
Stephen Osemwegie is running for Governor under the flatform of the labour party and has every needed capacity to win the primary elections ahead of others who do not have anything the 2024 Governor of Edo should have.
