LABOUR PARTY HITS NYESOM WIKE HARD AFTER MISGUIDED STATEMENT

LABOUR PARTY HITS NYESOM WIKE HARD AFTER MISGUIDED STATEMENT ON FCT SENATOR IRETI KINGIBE

The FCT Chairman of Labour Party Comrade Diugwu Peter Chukwuemeka have called on the FCT Minister Barrister Nyesom Wike to allow the FCT people to decide who they want to vote for in the 2027 general elections

He made this known to the media on thursday 4th july in Abuja at the labour party secretariat where executive me members of the party were invited to have an interface with the press on the missguided statement made by the minister some days ago.

In the speech titled as ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, the LP fct chair told the media that the Labour Party FCT is challenging the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike on the nasty statement he made against the party's elected Senator Ireti Kingibe.

Chief Peter said, We want to know on what authority was the minister speaking from whether, it is as the President of the federal Republic of Nigeria, the National Chairman INEC or the National Chairman of Labour party.

The Minister does not understand that every state has their peculiarity, the variables playing in Rivers state is quite different from what is happening in FCT where 98% of the residents are literate.

He should know that majority of the residents are Labour party and any attack on Ireti is attack on the residents of FCT.

Nyesom Wike has failed to realize that he is a tenant in FCT and by the time the President is done with him he will certainly remove him as a Minister.

He is not even sure whether he will last till the expiration of Ireti’s first term in office.

I want to put it on record that the roads he claim he has done in FCT were roads initiated by Goodluck Jonathan which he had completed 70% and out of envy was abandoned by the Buhari Regime. Let him create a project and complete it for the world to see.

The hard working Senator of FCT Ireti Kingibe merely called the Ministers attention to real needs of residents as the senator representing FCT and members of senate committee on FCT.

It’s part of her oversight function constitutionally to be in the know of the Ministers activities in her consistency, rather than being grateful to the distinguished senator, Wike

chose to be confrontational to the extent of threaten our senator who command overwhelming respect of the residents of FCT.

A Senator that was returned with a total vote of two hundred and two thousand, one hundred and seventy five (202,175) by FCT residents which we are not sure that Wike secure such votes in Rivers state to become a governor.

Furthermore, even when Wike knows that Labour party denied other political parties opportunity of achieving 25% votes in FCT in last presidential election.

For us in the Labour party in FCT, it is too early in the day to speculate about the outcome of the 2027 election because we will give Wike more shocks in upcoming Area council election.

The FCT Chairman also said Barrister Nyesom Wike is just hibernating and hobnobbing with a former senator who lost election humiliatingly to Senator Ireti Kingibe and will not add any political value to Wike political survival in FCT because THE BATTLE LINE IS NOW DRAWN.

Nyesom Wike should be reminded that distinguished senator Ireti was among the senators that screened and confirmed him as a minister.

The fct chairman went ahead to list some of teh good works done by Senator Ireti Kingibe.

. The construction of cottage hospitals in our Rural Area as was exemplified in the Rural Community of Dobi in Gwagwalada Area council, a Community that produced a House of Representatives Members but wallowed in dearth of infrastructure.

. Provision of Roads as shown in Karu, the home of the immediate Former Senator of FCT who was on seat for almost two decades.

. Provision of drinkable water by sinking boreholes in the neglected Rural Area of Abuja South.

. Paying of School fees, JAME fees, etc. for the children of less privileged.

. Provision of grants to Women to support their small business.

. Mobilize for Rural Electrification of Kawu and Shere Communities in BWARI Area Council.

. Youth Empowerment Program for thousands of FCT Youths on skill acquisition in various Trades with the Industrial Training funds.

She is currently working on legislative bills that will improved the welfare and well-being of FCT residents.

He went further to say, the fct labour party is advising Nyesom Wike to go and face the music governor Fubara his successor and good people of Rivers State are playing for him and leave our queen of red chamber alone.
