Abuja, Nigeria - 

The World Democracy Conference 2024, convened by VMCII Votes Must Count International Initiative, is scheduled to take place on August 5th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. prompt in Abuja, Nigeria. 

This marks the third edition of the conference, which has become a significant platform for global leaders to discuss democratic values and principles.



The conference, themed "Economic Stability is Key to National Development," promises to be an engaging and thought-provoking event, with a focus on strengthening democracy and promoting good governance. 

The theme is particularly relevant in today's global climate, where economic instability has become a major challenge for many nations.



A lineup of distinguished speakers has been confirmed for the conference, including the INEC Chairman, IPAC National Chairman, Labour Party National Chairman, NRM National Chairman, National Chairman Zenith Labour, Prof. Sam Amadi, Prof. Pat Utomi, Rufus Ebegba, former DG NBMA, Dr. Olubunmi Usim-Wilson, President of Life International Foundation, Former Enugu State Speaker, Hon. Eugene Odo, and Comrade Hamzat Lawal.


These notable speakers will share their insights and expertise on various aspects of democracy and economic development, providing a unique opportunity for delegates to engage in meaningful dialogue and learn from their experiences.

Note that there are other Special Speakers like Mr Peter Obi of the LP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, Engineer Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP, Comrade Omoyele Sowore of AAC and Prince Adewole Adebayo of the SDP that have not confirmed their attendance to the conference.
