CHARISMATIC BISHOPS CONFERENCE ENDORSES TINUBU FOR 2027, VOWS TO DELIVER 12 MILLION VOTES THROUGH CHURCH 2 CHURCH MOBILISATION

The leadership of the Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, CBCN, led by its President General, Archbishop Prof Leonard Bature Kawas, has officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term in the 2027 presidential elections.
The endorsement was announced today at the National Ecumenical Centre, also known as the National Christian Centre, Abuja, during a massive national gathering of the conference.
More than 10,000 Charismatic Bishops, representing all 774 Local Government Areas of Nigeria, are currently in session in Abuja as representatives of the conference.
At the event, the President General officially flagged off the campaign tagged: "CHURCH 2 CHURCH MOBILISATION."
The programme is designed as a nationwide grassroots campaign to mobilize support, prayers, and votes for President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections, through churches across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Speaking at the event, Archbishop Prof Leonard Bature Kawas declared that the decision was based on the conference's confidence in the Renewed Hope agenda and its commitment to stability, continuity, and national development.
In a major boast that electrified the gathering, the Archbishop declared that the CBCN is ready and structured to deliver *nothing less than 12 Million votes* for President Tinubu in 2027, using its members scattered across the nation around the 8,809 wards of Nigeria.
The massive turnout and the 12 million vote pledge have been described by observers as one of the largest single faith mobilizations ahead of the 2027 elections, and a significant early structure for the Tinubu campaign in the Christian community.
This endorsement comes at a critical time in national politics, as various political groups and movements intensify consultations and campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Charismatic Bishops Conference of Nigeria is expected to release a full communiqué and mobilization schedule after the Abuja session.
