In a shocking turn of events, the Labour Party, under the leadership of Julius Abure, is facing intense opposition from powerful forces.

These five key players are allegedly working to undermine Abure's chairmanship and destabilize the party.

THE INTERNAL THREAT -
As the Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi is reportedly seeking to consolidate control ahead of the 2027 elections.

His aim is to install a northerner as national chairman, balancing regional representation.

However, this move is seen as a bid to eliminate competition for the party's presidential ticket.

This is said to be a selfish political characteristic that a lot of politicians in Nigeria are known with overtime.

Obi is said to be too desperate of becoming President of Nigeria forgetting how he came to LP and got a Weaver to run for the Presidency of Nigeria and how he got an overwhelming support from all LP structure nationwide.

Most people will say Peter Obi bites the fingers that fed him and its one bug crime in politics that comes with in forgiveness to anyone who commits it.

Atiku Abubakar, leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is rumored to be courting Obi as his running mate for the 2027 elections.

This alliance would leverage the 'Obidient Movement' and its six million votes from 2023.

More over some persons in politics disclosed that Atiku's asking Obi to run as his vice again is coming as a trap for Obi because power will remain in the south in 2027 ahead of Atiku flooring whosoever is coming to contest against him come 2031 when power will return to the north.

President Bola Tinubu is determined to diminish the Labour Party's influence to secure his re-election in 2027.

For sure Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will do everything possible to dismantle the political influence of the LP so Obi cannot have a base to build up larger votes in 2027 against him.

Such elections include the off season governorship elections in Imo State, Edo State and some legislative elections across the Nation.

This Mahmood inec is known as the most corrupt government agency in history.

Mahmood's INEC is also Known for election criminality since he became the chairman of the electoral body as an emperor.

In a normal country where the rule of law is taken very seriously inec boss should have been removed, prosecuted and jailed if found wanting in all the cases of rigging that inec staff helped the ruling party to secure in the 2023 general elections.

The Labour Union Leader -
Comrade Joe Ajaero, Nigeria Labour Congress President, disputes Labour Party's leadership, claiming the NLC founded and owns the party. This dispute has sparked internal conflicts.

Despite these challenges, Julius Abure's leadership has been reaffirmed by the Court of Appeal in Benin, Edo State, and the federal high court in Abuja .
