Julius Abure has secured a major victory as the Federal High Court in Abuja has validated his leadership of the Labour Party. 

This landmark judgment declares the Labour Party's 2024 National Convention, held in Nnewi in March, as valid, constitutional, and in line with Nigerian laws.

The court ruling compels the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognize Abure's leadership and grant all due privileges to the Labour Party's National Working Committee.
