VMCII WORLDWIDE SERVICE CALLS HON. CHUKWUEMEKA NWAJIUBA, 24 OTHERS INTO NIGERIA PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS HALL OF FAME

VMCII Worldwide Service, a global democracy advocacy organization, has announced the induction of Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba and 24 other former presidential aspirants into its prestigious Nigeria Presidential Aspirants Hall of Fame.

Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, a former member of the House of Representatives and former Minister of State for Education, was a presidential aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2023 general elections.

His inclusion in the Hall of Fame recognizes his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic process and his participation in strengthening internal party democracy.

According to VMCII Worldwide Service, the names of the remaining 24 former presidential aspirants to be honored will be officially unveiled during a scheduled media chat on February 14 in Kano State.

The induction ceremony is being organized by VMCII Worldwide Service in collaboration with BTV Television Network, as part of ongoing efforts to document, recognize, and celebrate individuals who have contributed to Nigeria’s democratic development through active political participation.

VMCII’s Mission and Democratic Values
VMCII Worldwide Service, established in 2010, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of democracy across Africa and the world.

The organization operates with the core mandate of strengthening democratic institutions, promoting political participation, and encouraging good governance.

Speaking on the Hall of Fame initiative, VMCII officials noted that the program is designed to recognize individuals who have demonstrated commitment to Nigeria’s democratic journey, regardless of political party affiliation.

The organization reaffirmed its vision to educate, inform, and mobilize Africa and the global community on democratic influence, stressing that honoring past presidential aspirants is part of preserving democratic history and encouraging future political leadership.

Further details on the induction ceremony and the full list of honorees are expected to be released at the February 14 media engagement in Kano.
